Artist Statement

I am fascinated by the daily routines we abide by and the way in which we conduct ourselves. By using photography and printing methods, I try to blur the boundaries between what is real and illusion; heightening elements of distortion and perspective. By confronting the ‘Big Brother’ society that we are all inevitably part of, I question the role of surveillance. I expose feelings of vulnerability for both subject and viewer and ultimately reveal our inherent desire to be a voyeur.
